Symptoms of Eye Cancer

Eyes are the window to the world but negligence and improper care can take a toll on your eyesight. There are several other eye conditions which affect your eyes including eye cancer.

People with eye cancer may experience these signs or symptoms: having trouble seeing, losing part of the field of vision, seeing flashes of light, seeing spots, squiggly lines, or floaters.  Pain is quite rare unless the cancer has spread to the outside of the eye. It’s important to note here that these signs do not necessarily indicate cancer and could very well be due a different medical condition.

People with eye cancer may also have the following symptoms:

·      Bulging of one eye
·      Complete or partial loss of sight
·      Pain in or around the eye (rare with eye cancer)
·      Blurred vision
·      Change in the appearance of the eye

Whatever the problem be, it’s important to take immediate action when you feel like you are suffering from any of these symptoms.  The least you should get done is visit the nearest Eye Doctor and get a comprehensive eye exam.
