Digital Eyestrain

According to a new cross-platform report from Nielsen, the average American adult spends 11 hours per day with electronic media. Another survey, released by the Vision Council reports that 70 percent of American adults experience eyestrain while using digital devices.

According to an American Psychological Association study, younger adults using technology at a higher rate, are at more of a risk because they are more likely to check their work emails and text messages outside of the office as well giving their eyes very little rest.
The symptoms of digital eyestrain include dry eyes, red eyes, irritated or fatigued eyes, headaches, and back, neck or shoulder discomfort.
