CNN recently
published an article about a child whose bucket list before going blind is to
see the Boston Celtics play.
Louis "Louie" Corbett, 12, of
Auckland, New Zealand, is rapidly losing his eyesight due to a rare genetic
disorder - retinitis pigmentosa. His parents wanted to give their youngest of
five children an international sightseeing tour before he loses the ability to
see the world around him.
His bucket list included places like the
Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, the Empire State Building and the Google
headquarters in California. Last but not the least on his list was to take in a
Boston Celtics game.
