Red eyes In Photographs

Seen photographs with the people in the picture spooky red eyes?

Where The red color comes from the light reflected of the retinas of the eyes, and the red color comes from the blood vessels nourishing the eyes. Most of the photos taken at night or in low light with a flash will have people with red eyes.

Many cameras and photo editing software now have a "red eye reduction" feature.

For more details you can read the original article on Why do people have red eyes in flash photographs? published on howstuffwork.com

The good news is that when you see photographs of yourself or your loved ones having red eyes, you don’t have to worry about them having an eye disease.  However it is advised to get a comprehensive eye exam atleast once a year.
