How to Reduce Puffy Eyes

There are many causes of puffiness around the eyes, including allergies, heredity and, of course, the effects of a late night out. Whether it's hereditary or stress, allergies or lack of sleep, we unfortunately do get puffy eyes and this article published on WikiHow gives several tips on how to combat that. Remember that the eye area is very thin and delicate so you have to be very gentle in whatever you do to reduce the puffiness underneath your eyes.

Eye cream method: Use an eye cream that has rosemary or mint herbal base to it because that helps reduces puffiness.
Cold Water Splash Method: This dilates the vessels of the skin and immediately shrinks the pores so that the puffiness is reduced right away.

Eye Patch Method: Use eye patches, sometimes referred to as eye sheets or treatment masks for the eye. They are infused with retinol, ginseng, and other ingredients that help reduce puffiness and dark circles.

Massage Method: Do a mini-massage, sweeping inward through the ocular bone. This exercise is relaxing and it helps to reduce that puffiness as well.
