A mother has warned other parents of the
dangers posed by loom bands after her son was blinded by one.
Carlie Lawrence was
sitting making the bracelets with her children when her eldest son accidentally
fired one of the rubber bands into his seven-year-old brother Kyle’s eye.
Kyle suffered a blood clot, leaving him
blind in his left eye. He is awaiting surgery in the hope his sight can be
saved.
