According to a recent Huffington post
report, a Seattle teenager's glasses may have saved her life in a drive-by
shooting.
A 16-year-old girl was lying on a couch
inside her southeast Seattle residence when gunfire erupted.
The girl was not seriously injured but a
bullet struck the bridge of the girl's glasses and apparently deflected away
after breaking her glasses. She was taken to the hospital for treatment of
minor injuries.
According to the investigators the
intended victim was not the teenager, instead gang detectives are not
investigating.
