Causes of Blindness



Blindness means you are in total darkness. You cannot able to see anything including light too and if you are partially blind then you have limited vision. If a person sees the thing from 20 feet away then that person is called as legally blind. Legally blind person have highly compromised vision power.

Here are most common causes which can be the reason of your blindness.

·      Head Injury
·      Diabetic Retinopathy
·      Glaucoma
·      Subarachnoid hemorrhage
·      Rental Detachment
·      Brain Aneurysm
·      Optic Neuritis
·      Cataract
·      Strabismus

Get regular eye examinations to detect any eye diseases. If you are diagnosed with certain eye conditions, such as glaucoma, treatment with medication can help to prevent blindness.
